Daffodils!

I did get flowers- daffodils! I got a potted one which is cool because roses in vases just die...but I can water these and keep them alive! I also got a little stuffed cupid bear and he's adorable! :)

I cleaned out the rat's cage today, and I need to think of a good name for her. I've had her for quite some time...Amy and I originally both bought rats together, but mine (Bella) died shortly after...she sneezed a lot, so I think she was sick from the beginning. Anyway, Mom told me to take them back but I hid the remaining rat in my closet since Mom never really comes in my room. Since I think the rat hates it in there, I put her out in the open today. Then again, maybe rats like it in closets since they like the dark and all...I might put her back, I'm not sure. She's really friendly though!

I have to study for boards today...they are on Tuesday and I really hope I pass.

Valentine's Day

I wonder if I'll get flowers! I love flowers!

Last night, William planned this super sweet dinner for me...we had steak and lobster plus pasta and baked potatoes. He set the grill on fire, so we ended up broiling everything, but it turned out really well! We ate and then he helped me clean up, and he even put in a load of my laundry without being asked. He is super sweet, and has really learned a lot about me in the time we've been dating. That's such a fun part of a courtship...just learning about each other. For example...today, Ziggy knocked a plant off my windowsill and dirt went all over my Bible and some of my books. It upset me, and William was prepared for that because we've experienced similar "tragedies" before. He helped me clean off my Bible and books, kicked the cats out of the room and consoled me...he said "Don't worry, babe, we'll get it cleaned up. Susan has a hand held vacuum and I'll get it over here tomorrow." What a supportive guy! He keeps me sane and calm when I feel like my whole world is spinning off its orbit.

So anyway, our "pre-Valentine's" celebration was nice. Like I said, I hope I get flowers. Yellow ones. I hate red flowers! They are too generic. Yellow is the color of friendship, and he is my best friend. Nothing better for a foundation in a relationship, right?

So I'm going to bed, and I'm going to have all those lovey-dovey dreams you're supposed to have on Valentine's Eve. :)

Promises!

I'm going to start using this blog. I already write to my grandmother every night as my journaling, but I think I'll use this to share with my friends and family.

I need to be more in touch with the people I love. I hope I'm interesting :)
